The Secret History

I created these illustrations after feeling inspired by a wonderfully heartbreaking, beautifully written book: The Secret History by Donna Tartt. The story, in essence, a modern Greek tragedy, romanticizes these friends’ charming narcissism and brings their fatal flaws to light. This is my interpretation of the characters in terms of a weird mixture of the philosophers and Ancient Greek gods who they aspired to be.
